I’m a writer—but here’s my dirty little secret...

I’m a writer. But I have a dirty little secret...

I use AI to write.

Yep. I said it.

And I’ll tell you why that matters, Reader—especially if you’re a business owner who struggles to stay consistent with email marketing.

Here’s the thing—someone recently said to me,
"You’re such a good writer—why are you using AI?"

Like it was cheating. Like I was handing over my creativity to a robot.

But here’s what I realized...

We’ve been using AI for years. (Hello, Grammarly.)

AI doesn’t replace creativity—it supports it.

Just like Grammarly helps catch typos and awkward sentences, AI can help me get out of my own head, organize my thoughts, and speed up the process—especially when time and mental energy are limited.

But let me be clear:

  • I still lead the effort.
  • I decide what I want to say and how I want to say it.
  • I edit and shape everything to sound like me.

Because, like many of you, I care about voice, authenticity, and connection.

So why am I telling you this?

Because I know many business owners—maybe even you—avoid email marketing because it feels too hard, too slow, or too overwhelming to write consistently.

But here’s the truth: you don’t have to do it alone—and using tools (or a human partner) to get there faster doesn’t make you less of a writer or business owner.

It makes you smarter.

And if writing emails is the thing holding you back from marketing consistently?
There are ways to make it easier—and still sound like YOU.
